Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality for the second successive time won the UCIA Community Impact Personality Award for Excellence in Leadership during the just ended 15TH Ever Achievers Leadership Award Ceremony 2021 held in Accra.
The Hon. MCE won the award for his extraordinary leadership in the Political office he occupied as the Municipal Chief executive for the good people of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality in the Eastern Region.
Bishop Dr. Kwame Aburam Anoff Snr., Executive Chairman of the UCIA and Facilitator for the UCIA Global Achievers Leadership Awards Program commends Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh for his unique and selfless leadership in his Municipality which is bring massive infrastructure development in the area.
Bishop Anoff snr. Continue to say that over the years, Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh has shown extraordinary political and administrative leadership in the Krobo Land area which has foster unity which is the key drive to development.
He said Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh has won the UCIA Community Impact Personality Award for Excellence in Leadership for the second successive time due to the infrastructure advancement his leadership has brought to the Health, Education, security and other sectors in the area.
Bishop Anoff Snr. Applauded Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh for his great leadership which has seen the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality being one of the MMDA’S in the country to qualify for the World Bank Secondary Cities Support Program which is a performance based initiative which has given the Municipality a 188 Lockable stores Projects under construction at Agormanya market, a modern Business Resources Center at the Municipal Assembly and the construction of some town roads.
Bishop Dr. Kwame Aburam Anoff Snr. Challenged Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh to continue working hard in the best interest of the good people in his Municipality and Ghana at large since he don’t know who is watching him from a far.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh dedicated the Award to H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana and good of his Municipality for giving him the opportunity to serve.
He further acknowledged the hardworking team of Management and staff at the Municipal Assembly who have been his backbone in achieving success in his day to day actives at the Municipal Assembly as he promised to take this award as a challenge to do more in his committed quest to transform the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality as the representative of the President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo-MP for Shai-Osudoku Constituency, Dr. Nii Ayi – Bonte II, Gbese Mantse & Adonten of the Ga State, Alhaji Ali Mohammed Suraj – CEO of Danauta Security Company, Dr. Francis Sey – Medical Director of Gbawe SDA Hospital and Hon. Joseph Kofi Adda – Former Minister for Aviation among others.
