Hon. John Atteh Matey, the newly appointed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, officially began his first day in office with a Christian prayer session led by Rev. Fr. Moses Kofi Huadji, Parish Priest of the Catholic Church in Agormanya.

Following the prayer session, Hon. Matey embarked on a familiarization tour of selected departments within the Assembly. The tour afforded him the opportunity to interact with staff and gain firsthand insight into the operations of the various departments he will be working with to fulfill the Assembly’s development agenda.

In his brief address to staff members he met during the tour, Hon. Matey encouraged open communication and collaboration. He assured them of his commitment to working in the best interest of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality and the nation at large, emphasizing that achieving meaningful development would require unity and collective effort from all.

He was accompanied on the tour by the Presiding Member of the Municipal Assembly, Hon. George Lawer Amartey, as well as other senior officers of the Assembly.
