The General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Mr. John Boadu has visited some EC voter’s registration centres in the Eastern on Sunday 19th July, 2020.
Mr. John Boadu and his entourage visited about 15 registration centres in five Constituencies in the region.
His monitoring tour took him through the Akwapim District, Okere District, Yilo Krobo Municipality, Lower Manya Krobo Municipality before ending his very busy day at the Asuogyaman District.
Mr. John Boadu had the opportunity to interact with some registrants at all the registration centres he visited as he advised them to take the Covid-19 laid down public health protocols serious during this time they are determined to get registered to be part of election 2020.
He donated nose masks and alcohol based hand sanitizers to the EC officials, Party agents and the illegible voters who he met at all the centers he visited.
Mr. John Boadu took the opportunity to have a separate brief meeting with the Constituency leadership and the grassroot members of the NPP in all the areas he visited.
He encouraged them to be very vigilant in the discharge of their Patriotic duties to their dear NPP but they must try as much as possible to peacefully coexist with their opponents for the greater peace of mother Ghana.
He assured them that all they sacrifices for the NPP will surely be recognized in due time.
Alhaji Umar Bondinga, First Vice Chairman; Richard Twum Barimah, Second Vice Chairman and Kwame Koduah, Organiser among others were the Eastern Regional Executives of the NPP that accompanied Mr. John Boadu on his EC Voter’s registration monitoring tour in the Region.
The Mr. John Boadu and his entourage continued to the Volta Region to undertake similar exercises after they completed the Eastern Region assignment at Asikuma in the Asuogyaman District.
