New Anointing Child Development Centre – Akuse in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality has on Monday presented reusable face masks and hand sanitizers to their centre beneficiaries and
caregivers.
This initiative was part of the center’s committed quest to support their beneficiaries and caregivers in the fight against the Corona virus pandemic.
Due to the current restrictions on public gatherings only few of the beneficiaries and their caregivers were invited to the short ceremony to receive the donation as the center managers hinted that they have put in place other measures to get the donations to the other beneficiaries.
Mr. Samuel Appiah, head of Laboratory Services at Akuse Government Hospital led a team from the facility to give comprehensive education on the need to follow strictly the laid down public health protocols and other protocols to save lives as the gathering was taken through the proper ways of using the nose masks in this times especially on how to best manage the reusable nose masks.
Mr. Jonathan Akplah, Project Director at New Anointing CDC, Akuse in his brief speech adviced both the beneficiaries and caregivers to adhere strictly by the laid down protocols to be safe during this challenging times.
Rev. Joseph Odjidja (Pastor – New Anointing Assemblies of God), Pastor Moses Apafo Narh (CPC Member -New Anointing CDC), Mr. Nelson Amedofu (Caregivers Executive President for New Anointing CDC) and Mrs. Ellen Ziddah (Member Caregivers Executive of New Anointing CDC) were among the few dignitaries that witnessed the short presentation ceremony.
