The Headmistress of Akro Senior High Technical School, Mrs. Theresa Hushie, has advised student athletes to take their studies seriously, emphasising that academic excellence will play a crucial role in their future endeavors.
She made this appeal during her address at the closing ceremony of the school’s Inter-House Sports Festival, which successfully concluded on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Lassi Park in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
Mrs. Hushie encouraged students to strike a balance between sports and academics, reminding them that education remains a vital tool for success beyond their athletic pursuits.
