The Krobo Old Girls Association (KOGA) 1985 Year Group celebrated their 40th Anniversary with a memorable homecoming on Friday, November 14th, 2025. As part of the celebration, the group presented 40 metal-frame desks to Krobo Girls Presbyterian Senior High School, their cherished alma mater.

Receiving the donation, Mrs. Bernice Noel Mensah-Akutteh, Headmistress of the school, expressed profound gratitude to the group. She noted that the desks had arrived at a crucial time, especially with increased pressure on the school’s existing furniture following the arrival of the new first-year students. She commended the KOGA ’85 group for remembering the institution that played a key role in shaping their lives. She further encouraged them to maintain close ties with the school that provided them with a solid foundation.

As part of the homecoming activities, the old girls toured the school and were delighted by the remarkable transformation that had taken place since their days as students. They also interacted with some of the current students, sharing inspiring words of encouragement and motivation.

The group crowned their visit with what they described as “Christmas Comes Early,” by making a major donation to the NACTAR Foundation, an orphanage home at Nuaso Newtown in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality. The items included foodstuffs, toiletries, mattresses, teaching and learning materials, electronic gadgets, and a cash donation. The KOGA ’85 group assured the managers of the home of their continued support in the near future.
