Over 20 people were injured, and one person was confirmed dead on the spot, as a Yuton bus with registration GT 5922-16 from Kpasa heading to Accra ran into a Sino truck with registration number GT 3932-20, which was parked along the Kpong to Tema motorway somewhere around ‘Teye Kwame’ in the Krobo Land area.
The sad incident that occurred late last night took the combined fire service, police service, and ambulance service rescue operations barely 4 hours to successfully rescue and transport the injured to Akuse Government Hospital, Yilo Krobo District Hospital, Atua Government Hospital, and St. Martin de Porres Hospital, Agormanya, for emergency care.
