422 Frontline health workers in both Public and Private health facilities in the Yilo Krobo Municipality are expected to receive their first jab of the Covid-19 vaccines as vaccination commenced today.
The Yilo Krobo Municipal Disease Control officer, Rachel Addo disclosed this information to www.krobolandonline.com during a visit to the vaccination center at the Somanya Polyclinic on Monday 29th March, 2021.
She added that the Yilo Krobo Municipal Health Directorate under the able leadership of Mrs. Irene Offei has put in place adequate arrangements to make sure all health workers in the area receive the vaccine at their convenience as they work within the Municipality.
She concluded that this exercise which is targeting the front line health workers is expected to come to a successful end in 5 days time.
