The speakers from the Odumase District Police Command entreated the Pupils to report any issues of indecent assault among other domestic violent crimes to the nearest Police Station since there are structures in the Police Service operations to protect them.
Supt. She further appeal to the teachers to rather be good guidance to the students by guiding them in their day to day activities rather than being bad influences to them since the laws of Ghana will not spare any teacher found in a abusive act with any student.
Mr. Francis Nadutey, Headmaster of the School applause the Leadership of the Police Administration in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality for initiating this all important program which will help in educating the students by making very important informations available to the students which will help in avoiding some of the unfortunate circumstances that led to some students dropping out of school in the past.
The headmaster used the opportunity to appeal to Stakeholders, opinion leaders and the general public to support the Odumase District Police Command to be able to sustain this all important initiative for the benefit of the students and the community at Large.
Supt. Doris Akua Hukporti in an interview with www.krobolandonline.com stated that this initiative becomes necessary despite their Limited resources as cases of domestic violence and other assaults keep raising in the country which her command is not in exception.
