“Senior High Education is just one of the phases of Education not the end” Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower told the final year students in his Municipality as he tour some SHS examination centers in his area.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh on Tuesday 19th August visited the exam centers at Akro Technical SHS and Krobo Girls Presbyterian Church as some of the students ended their 3 years of Senior High education after the Science papers today.
The Hon. MCE addressing the students at both schools he visited advised the outgoing students not to have the perception that they are done with education just after SHS education since education has no end.
He continue to advise them to go home and remain obedient to their parents as well as caretakers who has supported government to see them through Senior high education since they will need them to continue either their education or career paths.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh used the opportunity to congratulate the latest SHS graduates as he challenged them to go out there and exhibit the best of training given them in the past 3 years in the Krobo Land area Since their education in the area has forever linked their history to the area and it will bring joy to both their teachers and stakeholders in the Municipality to receive news of success stories from this year group.
The Hon. MCE and his entourage were accompanied by Mr. Samuel Kwesi Tettey, Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Education Director and some other staff from the Municipal Education Directorate.
Mrs. Bernice Noel Mensah-Akutteh, Headmistress of Krobo Girls Presbyterian SHS expressed her heartiest appreciation to the Hon. MCE and the Municipal Education Director for making time out of their busy schedules to come and check on their outgoing students and as well to share some words of advise with them.
The headmaster of Akro Technical SHS, Mr. Charles Ossom Baah after the tour to the exam centers in his school with the Hon. MCE and Municipal Education Director took the opportunity to take them to their very effective modern biogas plant they recently benefited as part of the attached facilities to their 12-Unit 3 Storey classroom block project as he took the opportunity to expressed his appreciation to H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana and Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh for fully facilitating this all important project which has brought great relief to the School.
