Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality with support from his technical officers officially handed over a piece of land for the construction of a New Municipal health Insurance office complex at Nuaso Newtown.

The New NHIS office complex when completed will share boundaries with the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Electoral Commission office and Nuaso Newtown CHPS Compound.

Mr. Benjamin Kwesi Odoi – Eastern Regional NHIS Monitoring and Evaluation officer, Mr Harrison Thompson Barffour – Eastern Regional Operations Manager and Mr. Lawerteh, from the NHIS head office supervised the successful handing over of site to the construction company, Octagon Development Limited.

Mr. Kojo Jones, CEO of Octagon Development Limited in an interview after the short site handing over ceremony assured that they will mobilized and move to site within the shortest possible time.

He continued to say that their outfit is very ready to complete the project within the contract duration.
Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh in an interview after the official handing over of site to the construction company stated that his leadership is committed to develop the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality by adding my permanent offices for key state agencies for their Smooth operations.

In line with that vision, during his 4 years stay in office, he has witnessed the construction and completion of the first permanent offices for the Municipal Health Directorate, Municipal Education Directorate, Municipal Electoral Commission office and Now the new Municipal NHIS office complex which is expected to be completed soon.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh in the interview hinted that soon, work will commenced on the first permanent Municipal Immigration Command office complex among others at the same location as the NHIS Municipal Office.

Mr. Benjamin Kwesi Odoi who was part of the team from the NHIS assured the construction company of ready support and cooperation from the NHIS outfit for smooth execution of this all important project.
