A young Okada rider has been killed in a gory head on collision with a Kia Rhino Truck with registration Number GR 152 – 16 on Monday 22nd February, 2021 at Dawa Kolewa Junction in the Upper Manya krobo District.
Eyewitness said one leg of the deceased got cut off in the gory accident and has since not been found after hours of search conducted by some members of the community.
The sad incident irritated the youth and leadership of the community and immediately heaped sand high to create an emergency speed ramps on the Dawa Kolewa Junction stretch of the Oterpkelur to Asesewa highway.
Police officers from the Asesewa District Police Command has commenced investigation into the sad incident.
